Optometrist near Villeray
Villeray is close to our clinic, but we are not in it: PrimeVision is at 9520 Boulevard de l'Acadie, Suite 222, in Ahuntsic-Cartierville, near Marché Central. Rue Jarry or Boulevard Crémazie gets you here in about 14 minutes by car. If you live near Rue Jarry and already ride the orange line, the trip is one metro stop and one bus.
Getting here from Villeray
By car
On October 30, 2026, on a weekday afternoon, Google Maps gave about 14 minutes for 4.4 km heading west on Rue Jarry. Boulevard Crémazie took about the same time, with the usual heavy traffic at that hour. Parking is available at the clinic.
By metro and bus
Two simple options:
- From Jarry metro, ride the orange line one stop to Crémazie. At Station Crémazie Nord, take bus 20 West and get off at De Louvain / De l'Acadie, a one-minute walk from the door. Allow about 24 minutes.
- If you are closer to Boulevard Crémazie, bus 20 West stops at Christophe-Colomb / Crémazie and reaches the same De Louvain / De l'Acadie stop in about 17 minutes.
Schedules change by time and day, so check the STM trip planner before you leave.
One stop on the orange line
If you live in Villeray and work along the orange line, a visit can fit into the trip home: we are open until 6 pm on weekdays. Saturday, 10 am to 5 pm, works well for bringing children, whom we examine from age 4.
Services at the clinic
- Eye exams for adults, with retinal imaging
- Contact lenses: fitting, trial lenses and follow-up
- Children's eye exams from age 4
- Myopia control for children whose vision is getting worse year after year
- Urgent eye care: when a problem cannot wait
- Prescription glasses from more than 4,000 frames, for every budget, with our licensed optician, Michel Geha, O.O.D.
Exam coverage
RAMQ covers eye exams for children under 18 and adults 65 and over. For adults 18 to 64, the exam is generally not covered by RAMQ, with some exceptions; private insurance may reimburse all or part of it, depending on your plan, and we bill most major insurers directly. More on our eye exam coverage page.
Opening hours
- Monday to Friday: 10 am to 6 pm
- Saturday: 10 am to 5 pm
- Sunday: closed
