Prescription Glasses in Montréal

PrimeVision is an eyewear boutique and optometry clinic at 9520 Bd de l'Acadie in Montréal. You can have your eyes examined, choose a frame and order your prescription glasses in a single visit, or bring in a valid prescription from another clinic. Every frame we sell is authentic and sourced through authorized distribution.

From your prescription to your glasses

  1. Your prescription. Have an eye exam with one of our optometrists, or bring a valid prescription.
  2. Your frame. Our team helps you choose a frame that suits your face, your prescription and how you live. Strong prescriptions and progressive lenses work better in some shapes than others, and we will tell you which.
  3. Your measurements. We measure how the frame sits on your face so that the optical centre of each lens lines up with your eye. This step matters most for progressive lenses and for myopia control lenses.
  4. Your lenses. Lenses are cut and mounted to your prescription, then checked before we hand them over.
  5. Your fitting. We adjust the glasses on your face when you pick them up, and again whenever you need it, free of charge, for life.

We carry Ray-Ban, Gucci, Prada, Miu Miu, Saint Laurent, Balmain, Montblanc and Oakley, along with Dior, Fendi, Celine and Tom Ford in our boutique, and Meta AI glasses that can be fitted with prescription lenses. Browse all eyeglasses or all sunglasses online, then try them on in the boutique.

Adjustments and repairs

Glasses that slide, pinch or sit crooked can almost always be fixed in a few minutes. Adjustments, fittings and minor repairs are free for life on eyewear bought from us. Walk in during opening hours.

Insurance

Most private insurance plans cover part of the cost of prescription glasses every one or two years. We bill most major insurers directly, so you pay only the difference. RAMQ offers a reimbursement toward glasses bought for a child under 18.
