Optometrist near the Town of Mount Royal
PrimeVision is not in the Town of Mount Royal, but the clinic is close by, at 9520 Boulevard de l'Acadie, Suite 222, near Marché Central, about 6.5 km away. Thanks to the REM, the transit trip is short: two REM stations, then one STM bus. By car, Google Maps gave about 15 minutes. Whether you take the REM or the car, you can come from TMR for eye exams, contact lenses, the SAAQ vision exam and glasses.
Getting here from the Town of Mount Royal
By REM and bus 121
At Ville-de-Mont-Royal station, take the REM toward Deux-Montagnes and get off at Montpellier, two stations along (about 4 minutes). Walk about 4 minutes to the Côte-Vertu / Muir stop and take STM bus 121 East to Sauvé / De l'Acadie, 5 stops later. The clinic is then about a 6-minute walk (400 m). On October 30, 2026, on a weekday afternoon, Google Maps gave about 29 minutes in total. Check the STM trip planner for the day's schedule.
By car
Three routes all took about 15 minutes: Boulevard de l'Acadie (6.5 km), Chemin de la Côte-de-Liesse (6.9 km), or Chemin Canora then Côte-de-Liesse (6.2 km). Parking at the clinic is free.
An easy stop after work
The clinic is open until 6 pm on weekdays and from 10 am to 5 pm on Saturdays. If you ride the REM every day, a late-afternoon appointment can fit into the trip home. For contact lenses, the fitting includes trial lenses and follow-up. Our three optometrists see patients in French and English.
Exam coverage
RAMQ covers eye exams for children under 18 and adults 65 and over. For adults 18 to 64, the exam is generally not covered by RAMQ, with some exceptions; private insurance may reimburse all or part of it, depending on your plan, and we bill most major insurers directly.
